ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirement
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the emergency department required; 3 years preferred
• Travel experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 4:1 across days, nights, and weekends
• Charting system: Epic
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• California RN licensure required with valid Nursys verification
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Demonstrate understanding of evidence-based practice, pathophysiology, and pharmacological implications
• Accurately document assessments and perform clinical procedures including IV, Foley, and dressings
• Maintain proficiency with telemonitoring, IV, ventilator management, and safe medication administration
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
• Provide effective patient and family education
• Work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Skills include management of abdominal pain, acute psychosis, arterial line management, asthma, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, burns, ventilated patients, central line care, chest tube management, CVA, drug overdose, emergency medications, seizures, triage, and more
