Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday); block scheduling accommodated where possible but never guaranteed
• No on-call requirements
• Float requirements: Customary - Med Surg and Progressive
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 23-bed Surgical Unit
• Post-surgical experience required (not OR) including post recovery, urology, ortho, general, and medical overflow
• Must be willing to learn and take on charge responsibilities
• Peri dialysis experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certification: BLS
• Equipment used includes IV pumps and other customary unit equipment
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Black
• Must be a team player with strong communication skills
