Operating Room RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Operating Room. This is a day shift position working 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at 8 hours per day. The assignment runs for 91 days, beginning December 20, 2026. You will earn $2,550 weekly.

Role Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and evaluation of patient outcomes
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Delegate and coordinate team assignments based on patient and unit needs
• Float to other departments as needed
• Respond to 1–2 weekend call shifts per 24-hour period and 1–2 on-call nights per week with charge duties as needed

Requirements

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
• BLS Certification from AHA
• ACLS Certification
