Operating Room RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a travel position in the Operating Room at CHRISTUS St Vincent Physicians Medical Center in Santa Fe, NM. This is a full-time role running 4 days per week on 10-hour day shifts, with an expected duration of 91 days beginning October 19, 2026.

Schedule and Expectations

• Work 4 days per week on 10-hour day shifts
• 1–2 24-hour weekend call shifts required
• 1–2 on-call nights per week with charge duties as needed
• Floating required to main OR and other departments as needed

Your Responsibilities

• Practice independently in the OR setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care
• Provide routine and complex nursing care with focus on long-range goals and plans
• Deliver nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocols and monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to manage clinical situations

Qualifications and Requirements

• RN license in state of employment or compact required
• BLS certification via AHA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred

Facility Information

The facility uses the EPIC EMR system. Dress code is provided by the facility.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,580.
