Interventional Radiology RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for a travel position in Interventional Radiology. You will work in a fast-paced procedural environment providing moderate sedation and support for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care procedures.

Position Details:

• 12-hour shifts with day shift availability
• 36 or 40 hours per week
• 89-day contract starting October 26, 2026
• On-call responsibilities required for weekends and nights
• Weekly pay: $2,587

Your Responsibilities:

• Administer moderate sedation and independently monitor patients' cardiac and physical status
• Perform intraoperative moderate sedation and circulating duties
• Circulate in procedural settings as needed
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy

Required Qualifications:

• Current New York RN license
• Minimum two years of nursing experience (experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital preferred)
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Interventional Radiology experience required
• Telemetry skills required
• Ability to administer and monitor conscious sedation independently
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
