Job Details:

• Call rotation and holiday coverage required as needed
• On-call responsibilities included
• Must be able to hit the ground running and work independently
• Minimum 2+ years of current CSFA experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Provide peri-operative care of surgical patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse
• Ensure physical environment is appropriately prepared before patient arrival
• Assist surgical team during operative procedures
• Use instruments and medical devices during procedures
• Provide exposure, handle and/or cut tissue, and provide hemostasis and sutures
• Arrange and inventory sterile set-up for operations and pass items as needed to operating team
• Assist in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the OR theater
• Follow infection prevention standards and use technology appropriately including safety standards
• Use evidence-based tools, established policies, procedures, and standards of care and practice
• Participate in unit-based performance improvement activities and staff meetings
• EMR system: McKesson
• Dress code: Business casual or matching scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NBSTSA
• CSFA skills checklist current to 1 year required
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• Active NBSTSA/CSFA certification must be uploaded with profile
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted and must be noted at time of submission
