Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Required to work every 3rd weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be comfortable working with cardiac, heparin, insulin drips and some titration
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele required; first-time travelers accepted with at least 3 years of nursing experience
• Must be comfortable floating to ED and ICU if needed
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS, ACLS (AHA)
• Iowa state nursing license required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Valid driver's license required
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility
• Summer holiday requirement: must work 1-2 of 3 holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Orientation scheduled every Monday
