ED RN Job in Sterling, CO

Sterling Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. You will work a varied schedule on a 3x12 days basis.

As an Emergency Department RN, your responsibilities will include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning, in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel to promote continuity of care
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document assessments, nursing interventions, and patient responses in a legible and timely manner
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to the improvement of national nursing quality indicators
• Precept and mentor facility personnel, patients, students, and families as appropriate

Requirements: Current, valid RN license in Colorado; minimum one year acute care hospital experience with specialty area experience within the past 12 months; Colorado CAPS clearance card; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred.

Assignment Details: 94-day contract starting August 5, 2026, at Sterling Regional Medical Center, 615 Fairhurst Street, Sterling, CO. Weekly pay: $2,537.
