Job Details:

• Full-time position requiring 36 hours per week
• Scheduled shifts on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Variable shifts may be required based on census needs
• Holiday coverage is handled by call and assistance may be requested
• Perform MRI procedures including using and building protocols
• Screen patients for contraindications pertaining to exams and follow safety requirements per ACR and facility protocols
• Interview and educate patients on magnetic resonance imaging procedures, addressing concerns with tact, courtesy, and professionalism
• Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and alerting staff of dangers near the magnet
• Monitor patients at all times both visually and verbally
• Operate equipment necessary for daily duties and patient care
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote good safety habits for patients and coworkers
• Maintain and report on equipment status and help monitor inventory
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of patients including geriatric, pediatric, and general population
• Associates Degree or Certificate from a two-year college, university, or certificate-based program required
• ARRT registration required
• BCLS certification required within 4 months of hire and must be maintained thereafter
