ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 3 shifts per week with 12-hour shifts
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule required
• Float to other areas as needed if low volumes in the ED, rotating basis for floating
• Work in a 22-bed emergency department with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Low acuity environment with access to techs and unit secretary support
• Perform procedures including EKG, IV, NG tube, and anything within RN scope
• Operate equipment including LifePak, fluid warmers, and rapid infusers
• Document using Meditech system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC
• Dress code: Black scrubs required; black scrub jacket if needed; white, gray, or black shirt may be worn under scrub top
• Minimum 1 year of experience acceptable
• Patient experience requirements include compassion, caring, and teamwork
