Operating Room RN Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a 112-week travel assignment starting August 24, 2026, offering $2,047.68 weekly pay on a 3x12 day shift schedule.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required
• Travel nursing experience mandatory; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current Georgia or Compact nursing license
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Hard stop requirements: Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic experience mandatory

Service Lines:This OR supports Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics. You will care for adult and geriatric patients with a 1:1 patient ratio across all shifts and weekends.

Role Specifics:You will float within facility and scope of practice, including to Outpatient as needed. Required surgical skills include Craniotomy, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar Fusion, ALIF, XLIF, Total Joint Replacement, Transplant (solid organ), Cholecystectomy, Colon Resection, Hernia Repair, Laparoscopic Assisted Procedures, Open and Closed Reduction of Fractures, Arthroscopy, and GYN procedures. Variable weekend and call schedules will be discussed during interview. Community hospital experience and Trauma Level I and II experience are preferred.

Contract Terms:36 orientation hours required. Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract. No holiday RTO approved during blackout dates: November 23–29 and December 21–January 3.
