About this role

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. This is a full-time position running 89 days, beginning July 20, 2026.

Position Details

  • Schedule: 4 ten-hour day shifts per week
  • Weekly pay: $3,718
  • Weekend availability required
  • Holiday availability required
  • On-call and callback required per unit needs; expect 1–2 on-call instances per week and 1–2 weekends of call per month

Your Responsibilities

  • Select exposure factors and positioning to produce radiologic images of diagnostic quality
  • Administer oral contrast as needed per exam
  • Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations
  • Assist the radiologist during interventional procedures
  • Operate all x-ray equipment, CR and DR systems with proficiency
  • Report equipment malfunctions to manager or lead
  • Demonstrate competency with Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS
  • Maintain medication security for authorized personnel only
  • Provide care to patients of all age groups

Required Qualifications

  • Allied Health Professional credential
  • Two years of experience in radiology technology
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
  • New York state technician license
  • Neurosurgery or neuroscience experience required
  • Interventional radiology experience preferred
  • VIR certification preferred
