Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Syracuse, NY

You'll work as an Interventional Radiology Technologist at SUNY Upstate University Hospital - Downtown Campus in Syracuse, NY. This is a travel position running 91 days, starting July 6, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 4 days per week, 10.5-hour shifts (8:00 AM to 6:30 PM)
• Weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
• On-call coverage 2–4 days per month
• Overtime as needed based on departmental needs
• Weekly pay: $4,435.20

Your Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain examinations prior to procedures
• Position patients and set proper exposure factors to obtain required quality radiographs
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively to obtain quality diagnostic studies
• Practice appropriate radiation safety and protection to minimize patient radiation exposure
• Report any equipment malfunctions to your immediate supervisor
• Process films and input information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing
• Follow department procedures and protocols as defined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
• Perform radiologic examinations based on referring physician and radiologist needs

Requirements

• A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• NYS license/registration
• Minimum one year of CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
