Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x13-hour shifts per week, three consecutive days with a Monday or Tuesday start
• Night shift hours from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM with start time subject to vary +/- 2 hours depending on department needs (1 week advance notice provided for any changes)
• No on-call requirement
• Siemens experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R), ARRT(CT)
• Virginia state license required; active state license in hand accepted
• Perform preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Apply radiation safety protocols
• Perform a wide range of CT procedures including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, and vascular CTA
• Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• May be required to float to a nearby location approximately half a mile from the primary site
• Holidays are required and scheduled based on unit need; traveler may be scheduled for holidays falling outside contracted days
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
