Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 10-hour shifts
• Monday through Friday schedule with varying off day
• On-call required with 2-3 call shifts per week
• At least 1 weekend per month required (24 hours covering Saturday and Sunday)
• Must work Christmas week
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Primarily scrub role; scrub experience required
• Cases include Adults, Adolescents, and Geriatrics with General and Neuro Surgery required
• Cardiovascular cases preferred
• Facility has 12 operating rooms with 2 CVOR rooms
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Block schedule accommodation available
• Up to 1 pre-approved time off request permitted
• Required certifications: BLS, CST, and NBSTSA or TS-C (NCCT not accepted)
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Parking is free in the South Parking Garage
• Required skills include: Aseptic Technique, CABG, CVOR, TAVR, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling/Labeling, and Universal Protocol (Time Out) Procedure
