SLP Job in Redding, CA

You'll work as a Speech Language Pathologist in a Level 2 trauma center acute care setting at Mercy Medical Center Redding. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 4x10 day shifts (10-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend schedule
• $2,090 per week

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
• Active BLS certification
• California license (required for submission)
• COVID vaccine certification

What You'll Do

You'll provide speech-language pathology services within an acute care environment, using the Cerner charting system for documentation. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a busy trauma center where your expertise directly impacts patient outcomes during their hospital stay.

Assignment Details

This is a fixed-duration contract. Please note that the hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or up to 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks. A BSN is not required for this position.
