PACU RN Job in Honolulu, HI

You'll provide immediate post-anesthesia care and extended recovery support for patients in a 24/7 unit at Queen's Medical Center - Manamana. This role focuses on the critical transition period following anesthesia, with patients typically staying 1.5 hours in your care.

What You'll Do

• Work rotating 12-hour shifts with a choice of 36 hours guaranteed (3 shifts) or 48 hours guaranteed (4 shifts) per week
• Provide immediate post-anesthesia care and overnight extended recovery
• Care for patients ranging from pediatrics (12 months) through geriatrics
• Manage an average of 30–50 patients daily in a fast-paced environment
• Support both scheduled and emergent cases
• May be floated to areas of equal or lesser acuity based on operational needs

What We Need From You

• Current RN license (Hawaii required)
• Two or more years of full-time staff RN experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Stepdown
• ASN or BSN degree
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, APEX or AHA NIHSS
• All licenses and certifications must remain valid throughout your contract

• Weekly pay: $2,496.60
• Requested time off during initial contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days
• Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to contract start
