ED RN Job in Garrison, ND

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at CHI St Alexius Health Garrison Hospital. This is a 182-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,236.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• Flex time required in lieu of on-call or standby
• Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

Unit Details

You will work in the ED/Med-Surg Swing unit with 22 beds. Patient ratios are 1:4 acute, 1:6 swing bed, and 1:4 in the ED. You may be floated to ED holds as needed and may also work charge nurse responsibilities. You will be first to float when needed.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Titrate drips including standard titratable and set rate drips
• Manage telemetry and read strips as the responsible RN
• Work with respiratory equipment including nebulizers, oxygen (nasal and mask), ventilators (ED and transport use only), and CPAP
• Chart in the EPIC system

Requirements

• One year of Med-Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• BSN not required

Any scrub color is acceptable. You will join a facility-based team in a community hospital setting with clearly defined patient ratios and support for your clinical scope.
