About this role
Confluence Health Hospital-Central Campus is seeking an RN for its Intensive Care Unit. This is a 92-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026.
Position Details
- Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, evening/night rotation from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Weekly pay: $2,556
- Duration: 92 days
Requirements
- Current Washington State or Compact RN licensure
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
- Ability to function within Washington Nurse Practice Act guidelines and unit-specific standards of practice
Responsibilities
You will coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based procedures. Your duties include developing, implementing, and reassessing individualized patient care plans; administering medications and performing nursing procedures; and evaluating discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs. You will document all care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and completely.
You will conduct holistic ongoing assessments of patient status and respond appropriately to changes. Your focus will address the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of each patient. You will educate patients, families, and significant others using appropriate health information and written materials, and maintain current knowledge of workflows and evidence-based procedures.
Delegation of tasks to non-licensed assistive personnel and oversight of their care is part of your role. You will communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff according to hospital and unit policies. You may float as a sitter and float in rotation as needed.
