Pediatric Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekends required
• Scrub color: Ceil blue and/or black
• Rotate through NICU/ICU, COVID units, ER, floor work, nursery, and other areas
• Arkansas RRT state license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required (2 years preferred)
• Must reside more than 100 miles from facility
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred
• CRT or RRT credential required
• ER and ICU experience in an acute care setting required
• Required skills include: vent management, oxygen therapy, airway management, respiratory treatments, suctioning, ABGs, and EKGs
• Experience with high-risk deliveries required, including attending C-sections and infant stabilization
• Experience with RAM cannula, Vapotherm, and heated nasal cannulas in nursery setting
• Familiarity with Level 2 nursery procedures including placing infants on ventilators
• Bedside PFTs and bronchoscopy experience preferred
• Nursery experience preferred
• Charting system experience in Meditech preferred
• Interdisciplinary support includes Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams
• Must be prepared to work some holidays
