PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Details:

• Preferred schedule is 5 days per week for 8-hour days, with flexibility for four 10-hour days if needed
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
• Will have more than 8 patients scheduled per day
• Schedules are created by schedulers
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient diagnoses include general medicine, total joint replacement, post-surgery, post cardiac cath and pacers, vestibular, and post-stroke
• Facility census of 85 with 274 total beds
• Perform evaluations, assessments, gait training, extremity mobilization, and therapeutic exercises
• Utilize ceiling lifts, chair alarms, and bed alarms as special equipment on unit
• EPIC charting experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
• Active Pennsylvania PT license or Compact PT licensure required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
