Physical Therapist Job in Charleston, WV

You'll work as a Physical Therapist at WVU Thomas Health – Saint Francis Hospital in Charleston, WV, serving patients across a 19-bed skilled nursing unit with possible acute care coverage in the joint connection unit. This is a full-time travel position running 91 days, starting August 27, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8 Days)
• Weekend requirements apply; no holiday requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,546

Your Role

You will treat a variety of diagnoses including acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled, and outpatient patients. Your work covers all floors of the hospital as needed, with primary focus on the skilled nursing unit. You'll document all patient care using the MEDITECH charting system and wear royal blue scrubs.

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist License, Physical Therapist Temporary License, or Physical Therapist Compact License through the West Virginia Board of Physical Therapists
• BLS (AHA) Verification required

What to Expect

You'll receive department-specific orientation upon arrival. The facility operates under a cancellation policy of 2 shifts per 13-week assignments or greater, or 1 shift per assignments less than 13 weeks.
