CT Technologist Travel Job in Chicago, IL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 84-day travel assignment at Kindred Hospital - Chicago (North Campus). You will work three 12-hour shifts per week on days, with a 50% on-call requirement including every other weekend.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Review patient history and physician orders prior to procedures
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within your scope of practice when ordered
• Monitor patient condition continually and report or respond to changes in status as appropriate
• Prepare equipment and supplies for imaging procedures
• Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and report equipment malfunctions as necessary
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures
• Analyze results and identify issues with image quality
• Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results
• Float between X-ray and CT departments as required

Requirements:

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ARRT certification in Radiology and CT
• Associate degree in radiologic technology (CT technology certificate program preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Radiology and CT

This assignment begins July 27, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,759.40.
