Job Details:

• Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts plus call required
• Weekend schedule: Works 3x12-hour shifts either Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday
• Primary call on one weekend night then flip to secondary the next night (or vice versa)
• On-call required with 30-minute response time
• Must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; candidates with 1 year of experience will be considered only if they have both neuro and scrub experience
• Travel experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Neuro IR experience a plus but not required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Treats patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Works in a 5-room interventional radiology unit with a daily census of 30
• Performs procedures including angiography, angioplasty, embolization, TIPS, PICC line placement, nephrostomy, thoracentesis, vertebroplasty, and more
• Operates specialized equipment including Siemens single and biplane fluoroscopy units, GE biplane, GE procedural CT scanner, cryo machine, RF machine, and MWA machine
• Works with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
• Handles cases including HCC, oncology, ALS, GI, sepsis, and neuro
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS (AHA)
