Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work primarily on telemetry adult floors, the emergency department, and potentially pediatric floors
• Emergency department is high-volume with critical patients ranging in age from birth to geriatrics
• Knowledge and experience treating pediatric patients is required
• Every other weekend shift required
• At least 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, NRBC, and CA RRT
• Certifications must be AHA or ARC
• Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Skills required include but are not limited to: adult critical care, arterial punctures, BiPAP, CPAP, ECMO, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), intubation assist, mechanical ventilation and weaning, tracheostomy care and management, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), pediatric critical care, bronchoscopy, chest physiotherapy, sputum specimen collection, and patient transport
