Respiratory Therapist Job in Savannah, GA

You will work as a Respiratory Therapist on a 91-day travel assignment at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. This is a backfill role in the NICU, with 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Your Responsibilities

• Independently admit and manage ventilated patients in the Neonatal ICU
• Operate and troubleshoot Servo U and Draeger VN500 ventilators
• Set up and manage heliox therapy using both invasive and non-invasive measures
• Provide non-invasive ventilation support, including BiPAP and CPAP
• Deliver specialized neonatal care: Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide therapy, and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV)
• Manage high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) and Vaportherm therapy
• Document patient care in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year of Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care experience
• Current PALS certification
• Allied Health Professional degree
