ICU Registered Nurse Job in Hazleton, PA

LVH - Hazleton is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Intensive Care Unit. You will care for adult and geriatric patients, with the majority age 50 and older, in a setting where patient ratios range from 1:1 to 3:1 depending on acuity.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights with every other weekend requirement
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 8, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,384.64
• Self-scheduling available
• Floating required

Requirements:

• Pennsylvania or Compact nursing license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIH certification required
• EPIC charting system experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience

Essential Clinical Skills:

• Management of dysrhythmias
• Arterial line and central line care and management
• Titration of cardiac drips and vasoactive drips
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Care of ventilated patients, including ETT and NT suctioning
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Support and Resources:

You will work within an interdisciplinary team with access to physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
