Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Operate and position specialized OR imaging equipment including C-arms, O-arms, portable X-ray units, and hybrid room systems within the sterile operating room environment
• Adjust exposure factors, collimation, and image quality to obtain diagnostic images per surgeon specifications
• Perform intraoperative radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures while adhering to ALARA radiation protection principles including proper use of lead shielding and dose monitoring
• Verify patient identity and orders, assist with patient positioning, and prepare and administer contrast under supervision when required
• Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control protocols throughout all procedures
• Document procedure details including LMP status, fluoro time, radiation dose, room time, and anatomy labels; submit images and documents promptly to PACS
• Maintain and troubleshoot OR imaging equipment, perform daily checks, and coordinate with biomedical and engineering teams as needed
• Coordinate workflow with surgical and radiology teams to support timely exams including emergent cases and cross-campus coverage
• Serve patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Travel experience required; must be able to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; prior OR, C-arm, or intraoperative imaging experience strongly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS
• Current ARRT (R) registration required
• Valid state licensure in radiography required
• Proficiency with PACS, electronic medical records, and documentation systems required
• Skills required include: Adult Acute Care, C-Arm procedures, GE systems, O-ARM, PACS, Philips systems, Siemens systems, portable abdomen, and portable chest imaging
• Additional ARRT certifications or specialized training in fluoroscopy, CT, or related modalities preferred
• Experience in orthopedic, neuro, vascular, or hybrid OR procedures preferred
