Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Float position requiring at least 2 of the following 3 areas of competence:
   - ICU: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
   - Med/Surg/Tele: Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg/Tele experience required
   - ED: Minimum 2 years of ED experience required, triage experience required, Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Bedside patient care position
• Epic experience required
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• ICU unit consists of 16 beds with an average daily census of 8; 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio for ICU and 1:3 ratio for IMC
• Med/Surg/Tele units (4 North, 4 South, and SSU) consist of 32 beds with an average daily census of 17-22; 1:5 patient ratio (1:6 during surgical staffing) with nursing assistant support and a lightly assigned Charge Nurse (1:2 patient ratio)
• ED consists of 23 monitored beds with an average daily census of 70-100 patients across all stages of life; 1:4 patient ratio (1:5 during surgical staffing) with nursing assistant support, an unassigned Charge Nurse, and a dedicated triage nurse
