Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Appleton, WI

ThedaCare - Appleton is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This 16-week travel contract offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to expand your clinical expertise in a dynamic cardiac interventional setting.

Role Overview

You will work in a busy cath lab environment performing circulating and scrubbing duties across a range of procedures including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), interventional radiology (IR), and vascular cases. Your clinical skills in circulating IR, catheterization, and structural heart procedures will be essential. You must be comfortable with both circulating and scrubbing roles.

Schedule & Hours

• 5 days per week, 8-hour variable day shifts
• Start times: 6:30 AM or 7:30 AM (flexibility required)
• 10-hour shifts available by manager approval
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call minimum once per week with 30-minute response time
• Weekend and holiday on-call as needed
• Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks

Compensation & Duration

Weekly pay: $3,168. Contract length: 16 weeks, starting August 31, 2026.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
• Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience
• At least one completed travel contract (no new travelers)
• Associate Degree or Certificate in nursing
• Scrubbing capability required

Additional Information

You will float throughout ThedaCare facilities within your skillset, including the Neenah Specials Department as needed. Scrub colors are provided. This position requires flexibility, reliability, and strong procedural knowledge in interventional cardiac and vascular care.
