Operating Room RN Job in Dayton, OH

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. You'll join a pediatric surgical team in a 91-day travel assignment, working four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

About the Role

As an OR RN, you'll support surgical procedures in a pediatric setting, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians. You'll prepare patients, manage instrumentation, and maintain sterile technique throughout cases. Your experience and clinical judgment will directly contribute to patient safety and surgical outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN license: permanent Ohio state license or active Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Pediatric experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications current at time of submission
• PALS training will be provided upon arrival
• One recent manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference from your specialty required
