OR RN Job in Steubenville, OH

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Southwest – UPMC Trinity in Steubenville, Ohio. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 4, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 5x8 Days (five 8-hour shifts per week)
• Weekly pay: $3,131
• On-call requirement of 2–3 days per week with call hours from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday and 24-hour call on weekends

Your Role

You will manage and provide patient care activities for assigned patients and their families through independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members. You will establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients, and their families to achieve desired patient outcomes.

Your responsibilities include:

• Formulate daily goals and a plan of care for patients that considers individual needs in a holistic manner
• Demonstrate critical thinking in the identification of clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual issues for patient care
• Participate in department or unit-specific quality improvement efforts
• Utilize research and evidence-based practice to support improvement in clinical care
• Provide detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families to guide them through the episode of care and transition to another level of care or home

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
