CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 36 hours available per week
• Contract length of 13 weeks or more
• One weekend call day (Saturday or Sunday) required during contract
• No float requirement and no weekend requirement
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays even if they do not fall on the Monday through Wednesday schedule
• No Christmas RTO permitted
• Scrubs: Royal Blue
• Travelers must bring their own dosimeter to this assignment (any brand accepted; facility uses Landauer brand)
• Approximately 200 exams performed daily across 4 CT rooms
• Perform routine CT exams on all age groups from ambulatory patients to the most acute in a busy 80-plus bed emergency department
• CT procedure experience required: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, and CTAs
• General skills experience required: IV Starts, PACS, and Contrast administration
• Work setting experience required: Inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU
• Preferred experience: Outpatient, Level I Trauma, NICU, Biopsies, Brain Perfusion, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
• Equipment experience required: Siemens scanner
• Unit systems: EPIC and Visage PACS
• Scheduling is managed by supervisor based on unit needs
• Orientation conducted at the CT Supervisor's discretion
• Minimum 5 years of experience required; travel experience required (first-time travelers will not be accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT; must hold a CT registration specifically if ARRT certified
• NC or Compact nursing license required
