CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Thursday night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM (10-hour shifts)
• Mix of 10-hour and 12-hour shifts available for both days and nights
• Schedule assigned and posted at least 2 weeks in advance
• Weekend requirement varies depending on needs - may be every weekend or every other weekend
• Holiday coverage required if scheduled shift falls on a holiday
• Optional call with 45-minute response time
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Perform all routine CT exams for Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Department patients
• Perform Cardiac CT, biopsy/drain, Cryo/Microwave ablation procedures
• Must be able to perform all routine CT exams as well as Trauma cases
• Average of 65-70 scans per 24-hour period across 3 scanners
• Occasionally float to X-ray to cover ED, Inpatient, and Outpatient X-ray as needed
• IV skills required for working with outpatients
• Radiologist on site 24/7
• Equipment used: 1 GE REV CT and 2 GE REV HD scanners
• EMR system: EPIC; PACS system: SECTRA; Windows computer software
• Any color scrubs permitted as long as they look professional
• Radiation badge required prior to starting assignment
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT)
• BSN not required
