Telemetry RN Job in Pikeville, KY

Pikeville Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Medical Surgical and Telemetry units. This is a direct-care role on a 56-week contract starting August 10, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3x12-hour day shifts (no blocked scheduling)
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• $2,241 weekly
• Every other weekend and holiday required unless approved time off
• No on-call or call-back requirements

Role Details

• Float throughout all in-patient Med Surg/Telemetry units
• May assist other units as aide support
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with unit assignments ranging 15–45 beds
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Charting in Care View/EPIC preferred; on-site training available

Requirements

• Valid Kentucky or Compact RN License
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in specialty
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Associate Degree or Certificate in nursing
• EKG test during compliance process
• Black scrubs required
