Respiratory Therapist Job in Hilo, HI

Join Hilo Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist on a 15-week night shift assignment. You will work three 12-hour shifts per week from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, providing essential respiratory care to patients across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage continuous airway management and provide comprehensive respiratory care
• Operate and support ventilators and non-invasive ventilation equipment, including PB 980, PB 840, V60, and Para Pac Transport Ventilators
• Perform CPR and consult with physicians on respiratory interventions
• Utilize computerized charting and Pyxis medication management systems
• Deliver care across diverse patient populations and acuity levels

What We Need From You

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• RRT certification preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
• Not accepting first assignments

Position Details

This is a 3x12 night shift role with weekly pay of $2,181.24. Please note that hours are not guaranteed. Your assignment begins August 17, 2026.
