First Assist Technician

Opportunity:

CSFA - First Assist Tech

Job Details:

• 4x10 shift schedule (four 10-hour shifts per week)
• Day shifts with rotating weekends
• On-call requirement will vary depending on vein harvesting skills
• Endoscopic vein harvesting is required
• Must have 2 to 3 years of cardiovascular first assist experience
• Open heart and vascular experience required
• Must be able to act as first assist in on-pump cardiac cases (vascular experience alone does not count)
• CVOR, Pediatric CVOR, and cardiac experience required
• Typical procedures include cardiac cases (CABG, AVR, MVR, pericardial window, aortic dissections, congenital peds) and vascular cases (fem pop, AAA, AV fistula)
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Required certifications: CST FA or RN FA
• Scrubs provided on unit (ceil blue)
