MRI Technologist Job in Salem, VA

You will work as an MRI Technologist at Lewisgale Medical Center, a 521-bed facility in Salem, VA. This is a travel position with a 91-day duration, starting September 7, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 5 nights per week: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday
• 2 nights of on-call required

Your Responsibilities

• Perform all MRI exams according to established protocols
• Operate GE MRI equipment
• Document exams using Meditech and GE PACS systems
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Allied Health Professional degree

Work Environment

• Work within a well-staffed radiology department with clerical support
• Gray scrubs required as dress code

Compensation

Weekly pay is $3,121.
