Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday one week; Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday the following week, resulting in every other weekend worked
• Weekend coverage included
• Block scheduling type
• Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• RRT or CRT credentials accepted
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years of experience in service line preferred
• Must have some experience with neonates
• Charting system experience required; Sunrise charting system used; Altera experience preferred but not required
• Travel experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT
• Key skills include adult critical care, BiPAP/CPAP, mechanical ventilation and weaning, arterial blood gas drawing and interpretation, intubation assist, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), tracheostomy care and management, neonatal and pediatric critical care, bronchoscopy, bubble CPAP, chest physiotherapy, and emergency department experience
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
