PCU Registered Nurse Job in Saginaw, MI

MyMichigan Health - Saginaw is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a temporary travel position working 3x12 night shifts.

Position Overview

You will deliver integrated nursing care using the nursing process, applying broad clinical knowledge with a caring and concerned approach. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial, and family support needs
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care according to individual patient needs
• Evaluate patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if clinical goals are being met
• Consult and collaborate with healthcare team members in planning and implementing total patient care

Unit Details

The primary patient population is all telemetry. You will manage a patient ratio of 4:1, with occasional stretch to 5:1. Every other weekend and holiday schedule is required. There are no on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Telemetry cardiac experience required
• Active Michigan nursing license
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• Skills checklist current within one year pertinent to PCU specialty
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years

About This Assignment

Contract length is 91 days, with a start date of September 28, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,314. Recent travel work history is highly preferred.
