ED Registered Nurse Job in Coos Bay, OR

Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay, OR is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a temporary basis. This is a night shift position working 3x12 hour shifts over a 91-day assignment beginning September 29, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Apply the nursing process to patient care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
• Teach patients and significant others regarding care and treatment
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care
• Participate in on-call and weekend schedules as determined by the facility

Requirements:

• Current Oregon nursing license (does not need to be active at submission but must be willing to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years
• Current certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application
• Resume required at time of submission

Compensation: $2,203.20 per week. This temporary role offers you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency setting while maintaining schedule flexibility typical of travel nursing positions.
