ED RN Job in Coos Bay, OR

Bay Area Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Coos Bay, Oregon. This is a temporary position working 3x12 evening shifts.

Position Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,205
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 29, 2026
• Shift: Evenings, 3 days per week

Your Responsibilities:

• Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
• Teach patients and significant others regarding care and treatment
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient
• Participate in on-call and weekend schedules as determined by the facility

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years
• Oregon nursing license (does not need to be active at submission but must be willing to obtain)
• Current certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application
• Resume required at time of submission
