OR - Operating Room

Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call required 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
• 10 operating rooms with an average daily census of 20-25 patients
• Serve patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 3 years of OR experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS, CNOR
• Compact or Louisiana license required in hand upon submittal
• Perform a wide range of surgical procedures including general, gynecologic, orthopedic, neurological, urologic, thoracic, and robotic-assisted surgeries
• Proficiency with Da Vinci Robotics and Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
• Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
