Certified Surgical Technologist in Petoskey, MI

McLaren Northern Michigan is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a temporary assignment in the Operating Room. This role offers a structured schedule with predictable shifts and the opportunity to work across multiple surgical specialties.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 days per week
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: August 24, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,177.28
• On-call: One weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Rotating holiday schedule required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of CSFA (Certified Surgical First Assistant) experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT certification (either acceptable)
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application preferred

Preferred Experience:

• Orthopedic surgery
• General surgery
• Endo-vascular procedures
• Urology
• Obstetrics

Expectations:

You will maintain strict attendance standards. The facility enforces a three-strike policy for absences or arrivals more than 20 minutes late, which results in immediate termination. Reliable attendance is essential for this role.
