Job Details:

• Night shift position in the Emergency Department
• 3x12 shift schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:4 for all shifts including days, nights, and weekends
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call required
• Must be comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult patient populations
• Patient age groups include infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Common patient diagnoses include abdominal pain, chest pain, stroke symptoms, musculoskeletal injuries, and a variety of other chief complaints
• Daily census ranges from 120 to 160 patients across 25 rooms/beds
• Must be proficient with Glucostabilizer and Level 1 infuser equipment
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS/BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (preferred), ENPC (preferred)
• Required skills: Care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, general emergency department combined adult/pediatric care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and triage
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
