Cath Lab Technologist Job in Pittsburgh, PA

You will work as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 13-week contract assignment beginning August 17, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 4 days per week, 10-hour day shifts
• Cath Lab shift hours: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• OR shift hours: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required 1–2 days per week with rotating weekend call every 3–4 weeks
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Weekly pay: $3,322.80

Role Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures in a sterile environment
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and fluoroscopy with C-arm, table, and image processing
• Demonstrate basic EKG interpretation and pass facility EKG test
• Maintain sterile technique throughout all procedures
• Learn and operate various equipment and products required for percutaneous procedures
• Document procedures using EPIC electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• CCI-RCIS or ARRT RT certification
