Cath Lab Technologist Job in Pittsburgh, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join a Southwest facility in Pittsburgh, PA for a 90-day travel assignment. You will work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, on a day shift schedule beginning August 17, 2026. Weekly compensation is $3,358.

Your Role

You will assist cardiologists in performing invasive cardiac procedures including right heart monitoring, myocardial biopsies, left heart catheterizations, and interventional procedures. Your responsibilities include:

• Enter and manage patient information in the Cath Lab computer system and hemodynamic documentation system
• Monitor patients throughout all phases of the procedure, including pre- and post-procedure care
• Communicate vital patient data to the physician, including blood pressure and heart rhythm information
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment, film processors, defibrillators, monitoring devices, and interventional instruments
• Prepare procedure trays and rooms according to protocol
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain what to expect, and provide procedural instructions
• Complete all paperwork accurately and timely
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Support information gathering for research patients
• Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
• Transport patients to and from the Cath Lab as needed

Qualifications

You must hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Science from an accredited technical program and have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab or vascular technologist. You will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
