Cath Lab Technologist Job in Allentown, PA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at LVH – Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. This is a 13-week travel contract position offering you the opportunity to build experience in a high-acuity cardiac environment.

Schedule and Location

• Shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (Days)
• Hours: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
• On-call required every 4 to 5 weekends
• May float to cover cross-campus departments as needed
• Scrubs provided

Requirements

• 2 years of Cath Lab experience (first-time travelers accepted with 2 years experience)
• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Experience with specialized equipment: Impella, IABP, Aviggo+, IVUS, Coroflow, Rotoblade, and Coronary/Peripheral Lithotripsy
• Epic charting system experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and either ARRT (R) or RCIS certification

Core Skills and Competencies

• Hemodynamic monitoring and fluoroscopy
• Sterile technique and scrub procedures
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), IABP placement and removal, Impella insertion, and rotablator atherectomy
• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterization
• Temporary pacemaker insertion, pulmonary artery line insertion, aortography, angioplasty, stent placement, and vascular closure systems

Patient Population

You will care for adolescent and adult patients across diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $3,108
