Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job in Pittsburgh, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a full-time role working four 10-hour day shifts per week.

Schedule & Expectations:

• Cath Lab hours: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• OR hours: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required 1–2 days per week
• Rotating weekend call every 3–4 weeks depending on staffing needs
• Rotating weekend schedule required

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures in a sterile environment
• Perform basic EKG interpretation (must pass facility EKG test)
• Maintain sterile technique and hemodynamic monitoring throughout procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment, including C-arm and table and image processing systems
• Use EPIC electronic health record system
• Learn and operate various equipment and products required for percutaneous cardiac and vascular interventions

Required Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• CCI-RCIS or ARRT RT certification
• Demonstrated sterile technique and hemodynamic monitoring skills
• Ability to pass facility EKG interpretation assessment

Additional Information:

• Burgundy scrubs required
• Compensation: $3,411 per week
• Assignment start date: August 17, 2026
