Cath Lab Technologist Job in Erie, PA

You will work as a Cardiovascular Technologist in the Cath Lab at Northwest - UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. This is a 90-day travel assignment with a 5x8 shift schedule (5 days per week, 8 hours per day). Your weekly pay is $3,351, with a start date of July 27, 2026.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assist cardiologists in performing invasive procedures including right heart monitoring, myocardial biopsies, left heart catheterizations, and interventional procedures
• Enter and document patient information in the Cath Lab computer system and hemodynamic monitoring system
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Communicate vital patient information to the physician, including blood pressure and cardiac rhythms
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment, film processors, defibrillators, monitoring equipment, and interventional devices
• Prepare trays and the procedure room
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and provide procedural instructions
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Support information gathering for research patients
• Transport patients to and from the Cath Lab as needed

Required qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Science from an accredited technical program
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology certification, ARRT Certificate, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Echocardiograph and Ultrasound certification
• PA Act 34 compliance

ECMO experience and ACLS certification are preferred but not required.
